Of the 74 institutes in total within the Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft, those that deal with related subjects are organized within associations and alliances. We take advantage of these alliances – wherever it makes sense in terms of the disciplines involved – for strategic coordination in order to achieve synergies that allow us to offer our clients comprehensive all-round solutions. Individual departments within the different institutes use their various skills to cooperate on projects and thus provide a general access to specific topics.
