In the project »Phosil«, a miniaturized photoacoustic measurement system for the monitoring of relevant gases for the food industry such as the ripening hormone ethylene (C2H4) was developed. The measurement system is supposed to yield quick information about the maturity level of fruit and thus the quality of the food.
