At the Professorship Professorship for Gas Sensors at IMTEK, 8 scientists, PhD- and master students develop gas sensitive materials, sensors und sensor systems. Research focuses on microstructured power saving gas sensor systems. IMTEK-researchers work closely together with Fraunhofer scientists of the IPM business unit »Integrated Sensor Systems«.
Head of Professorship is Prof. Dr. Jürgen Wöllenstein, also Head of Department »Gas and Process Technology« at Fraunhofer IPM.
