Professorship for Production Control

The research focus is on ensuring quality and increasing the resource efficiency of production processes. Optical measuring and testing methods are explored that can be used quickly, contactlessly and flexibly – even in harsh environments. The aim is to enable the manufacturing industry to automatically monitor processes and products in the production line. In close cooperation with the development departments of industry, feedback methods are developed that help companies to significantly improve production processes.
